This policy explains what information Desta Immigration Services ("we," "I") collects on this website, how it's used, and the choices you have. The short version: I collect what you type into the forms, plus standard advertising analytics. I use it to respond to you and run this site. I don't sell it.
What I collect
- Information you give me. When you fill out the application or request the guide, that's your name, email, phone number, and your answers to the questions: where your fiancé(e) lives, where you are in the process, your timeline, and anything you write about your situation.
- Booking information. If you book a call, the date and time you pick.
- Advertising and usage data. This site uses the Meta (Facebook) pixel and Wistia video analytics. These collect standard technical data through cookies and similar technologies: device, browser, pages viewed, and video watch time. Ad-click identifiers (such as campaign parameters in the page address) are recorded with your submission so I know which ad brought you here.
How it's used
- To respond to your request, prepare for your call, and provide the services you ask for.
- To send you the confirmation, reminders, and follow-up you requested, by text and email.
- To send the free guide if you asked for it, and occasional emails about the K-1 process. You can unsubscribe anytime.
- To measure and improve advertising, so ads reach people this service is actually for.
Text messages
By submitting your phone number, you agree to receive text messages about your request: a confirmation, appointment reminders, and replies to questions you ask. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts doesn't affect anything else.
Who it's shared with
I don't sell your information, and I don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. It's handled by the service providers that run this site on my behalf:
- GoHighLevel, the system that stores your submission, sends confirmations and reminders, and runs the booking calendar.
- Wistia, for video hosting and playback analytics.
- Meta Platforms, for advertising measurement via the Meta pixel. You can learn about and control Meta's advertising practices in your Facebook ad preferences.
Information may also be disclosed if the law requires it.
Cookies and your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
- You can opt out of interest-based advertising through your Facebook ad preferences and your device's ad settings.
- Unsubscribe links are in every marketing email, and STOP works in every text.
Keeping and deleting your information
I keep your information for as long as it's needed to provide the services and meet legal obligations. You can ask me at any time to see what I have about you, correct it, or delete it, and I'll do it unless a legal obligation requires keeping it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws. The request works the same way regardless.
Children
This site is for adults. It isn't directed to anyone under 18, and I don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
